I haven't used a lot of different colognes, but my favorite is Hugo Boss. A girlfriend back in the day got me a little sample thing of it and I loved it, and think it's the best I've (smelled) since then. But I haven't seen it in most stores (like Walmart or Meijer); the one I have now is a present from my mom who went to a big mall that had a huge cologne store and she found a bottle of it in there.

I think the scent is called "Man" after looking it up. Huh, it says for the fragrance: "A unique scent combination of fresh hit of crisp green apples, aromatic herbal twists and smoky and earthy wild forest scents." No wonder it's awesome, green apples ftmfw!

I haven't used cologne in years but I do recall liking Hugo Boss and Aqua de Gio (sp?). I used Aqua far more, but Hugo was definitely up there.

I'm not against wearing fragrance - but if there is one thing I am against it's that everyone here is basically mentioning the same mainstream crap.

Do you know what your sense of smell does? Triggers memory. It does that better than any other sense.

Know what your wife, girlfriend, or significant other is going to remember when they smell the same fragrance? (Acqua di gio, cool water, hugo ,etc)... Their last significant other that wore it. Or their co-worker that wears it. Enjoy that thought of your significant other thinking about other people.

Funny story: i am a personal friend of the guy after which "Gio" is named.

I use a thing which puts cologne to shame, it's an arab perfume called Attar, a thick, viscous liquid made from flower extract. The aroma is incredible, and can resist the most intense sweating.

I used to like Joop but my wife likes Chanel Blue more on me.

well, based on this:

It's HUGO (by Hugo Boss). "Hugo Boss" is a different fragrance, the OG release. "Man" just indicates "for men" ... i.e pour homme. I enjoyed wearing it years ago.
