What is Your Favorite Laptop Brand?

I just had my Dell XPS15 from 2010 die and am in the market for a new laptop. My needs are solid WIFI, 1080 IPS screen quality and a display port! I do some photography jobs where this laptop runs an external monitor for image preview. Display port allows me to use my color calibrator on the external computer monitor. (HDMI is more for video and not the best for this use).

Brands that come to mind are HP, Asus & Dell. But which is best? Which is going to last the longest?

I will second the Lenovo Thinkpad line. I avoid HP like the plague.

Thanks for your replies. I have never owned an HP. Have had good experiences with Dell until this laptop's motherboard failed. The Lenovo/China spying thing does catch my attention though. I will be honest.

The need for a mini displayport is culling the choices as this connection has lost some favor. My hopes of spending less are dwindling as it seems mainly the higher end models have this output.

I prefer Dell, I avoid HP, only tried a few Lenovo's, but seem to go back to Dell. Durability I like the Latitude lines.
