Hi! I'm still stuck in old school, text editor based HTML. I still use Pico or vi for Unix and write my pages from templates. But this doesn't cut it with the new things such as seamless frames, integrated graphics/buttons and multimedia. At least not for me....

So... I'd like to here your comments about which packages you use and why. I own MS Front Page 2000 (came with office) but am considering all options such as Dream Weaver, etc...

My goals are to maintain several internal organizational web pages... a club web page (astronomy) and my personal web page. I'm going to take the plunge and ditch UNIX based editing (though it will be a cold day in hell when I ditch vi for MS C++ or J++!!!!!) for my web authorizing... so help me out with which packages get the job done... and which will just waste my time! :)

Thanks!
Brad

Here's some reviews of the top 5: zdnet. Personally I learned on FP then migrated to Dreamweaver. One of the best things about DW, it lets you change the html code directly, while FP replaces it with proprietary code.

for me it's a tie between dreamweaver 3 and golive 5. both are excellent packages, and have nearly the same strengths.
