Every time I go out with my friends I order a Gin and Tonic, so that definitely is my favorite.

Specific drink: Jadwiga Mead. (3:1 ratio honey to water, nice and full flavored)

Otheriwse, I am a beer man.
Especially Belgian style Quads, Belgian style Tripels, Belgian style Strong Ale, Imperial Stouts, IPAs, or Wheats.

It depends, I love a cold glass of water... but then again when the mood strikes me I prefer a cold coca-cola. If it is alcoholic, then I like Yuengling Lager or MGD.

I'm assuming you're talking alcohol only. In that case, scotch neat.

Depends really, if I'm going to a casual bar or dance hall, or if I end up at a bar with a good selection.

Generally, I'll drink anything that's new, I don't really have a session beer. If I'm anywhere else, it's a Shiner or Lone Star. If you're going to drink "crappy" beer, at least do it locally!

I mostly drink Heineken, but lots of other stuff works just as well. I had some bud light last night and liked it just fine. I'm really not picky enough to definitively say I have a favorite.

Mixed drink: White Russian.
In a hurry to get drunk: Long Island Ice Tea.
Beer: Blue Moon or Goose Island 312.
Going for longevity: Miller Lite.

Water.

If you are talking about alcoholic drinks, then nothing beats a rye and ginger. For beer, it depends on the season/weather.

Water, followed very closely by coffee.

As far as mixed drinks go, I almost always get Gin & Tonics or Jack & Cokes. Occasionally I'll get a Long Island Iced Tea.

Those taste disgusting. Way too sugary and flowery for me.

I much prefer Stone Ruination.
Despite them both being IPA, I still wouldn't put them amongst the same ranks for comparison or contrast, due to the large difference in abv %.
Alot of higher abv beers go down similar to liquor (example - belzebuth), while this one goes down just like a beer should, and tastes much better and smoother compared to other high abv beers.

Although I have noticed moreso in recent years that brewers have improved their techniques so that these high abv beers do taste more like beer rather than liquor.

I love DFH 120 min IPA, but pretty much any Belgian style quad will taste smooth and go down like beer should .... (though these are around usually 12-15 pct abv)... many of these have been unchanged for hundreds of years ....

That said, many people think they taste like crap ....

Normal: water, tea, coffee all on equal basis. I don't touch soft drinks, too sugary for me.

Alcohol: If I am going out, I have three standbys:
1) Jameson Whiskey with a block or two of ice (sacrilege...whatever I don't care)
2) Whatever microbrew stout/porter the bar has on tap
3) gin & tonic (I'll take plymouth gin if they have it, otherwise Bombay Sapphire)

Since it came out last year I've almost exclusively drank Jim Beam Red Stag. It's an 80 proof black cherry infused bourbon. I usually mix it with Diet Coke letting the sweetness of the Red Stag compensate the less sweet Diet Coke. It tastes largely like Cherry Coke that way.
