If I wanna spend more I go with either three olives or Absolut, both closer to $20 for 750 IIRC.

Back in college we used to get nasty plastic-handle vodkas with names like Ruble, Vladimir or Rikaloff for 8 or 9 bucks for 1.75 liters. It was a cheap way to get drunk but it smelled like rubbing alcohol and burned like hell on the way down. Wish I'd known about the Brita filter trick back then.

I hardly drink at all, but when I do, its usually good stuff like Belvedere vodka, or St Maarten Guavaberry spiced rum.
