However, I couldn't afford one so I settled for a 10x4x32 HP9350i (which I got new from a tip from the Hot Deals Forum for $25 after rebate). I love it (especially for the price and the speed improvenment over my old 2x burner) and haven't made a coaster yet.
And I love my Teac. It's great. Don't really need BURN-PROOF. My buffer rarely goes below 97%. And it has good read speeds and decent DAE extraction...
I like the TDK because it comes with Nero already.
I had the same debate, I was going to get the Plextor but decided to try TDK and am very happy with it. Not a coaster yet, gota love that burnproof.
Lite-on. Why? Because it has all the features of the 12x plextor for a fraction of the price. Many people on this forum are buying them. If Lite-on keeps up this up they'll be top dog in the cdrw scene.
