What is your favorite budget 550W/600W PSU?

For a while you could get the EVGA 600B 600W Bronze PSUs for $29.99 from BestBuy.com.

That was quite a deal, those are fairly decent, if entry-level, PSUs.

I'll have to keep my eye out for that one.

Another great buy was the XFX TS 550W (Seasonic OEM) for $26.99 AR shipped....but that deal (which was recurring) seems to have gone away.

I got one of those from Newegg as a spare, vs my usual budget PSU, the Corsair CX. Haven't had a chance to install it anywhere, but it seems like a decent unit.

All dayyyyy, babyyyyy !!!:thumbsup: I think I may have bought more of this model than I did the great X-Connect 500w free after rebate 20 pin models back in the day. I still own TWO of those 500w X-Connects.

The XFX is such a solid performer that it can still power up any mid range build. Used it with an FX6300/7970 build that is a very capable rig for someone on a budget.

every 3 months or so it would show up. There is a new sales manager for PSU's, ill remind them of that sale.

I'll caution you on their fans, because I love their cases. Have two of em (see sig), but I've had to replace all the fans in my gaming rig after less than 2 years. C'est lvie. I switched to 4xCorsair 140mm quiet-flow fans.

Good to know... I have a couple of R2s, but they are in computers that aren't on all that often. Should keep an eye on the fans now.
