Mmmm, I just made some bacon and eggs... use some of the grease from the bacon for flavoring in the scrambled eggs. Soooo good.

You?

If you have any special recipes or ideas, post 'em. I'm always looking for ideas.

Nah, no bacon for me. It's usually sausage links, some scrambled and runny eggs, with toast. I could really go for some grilled cheese right about now.

Banana, apple, pear, some peach, some kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries if they're in season.. maybe some raspberries, or a slice of an orange for some tart.. or a squirt of lemon juice.. handful of honey roasted sunflower seeds, ice. Top with vanilla soy milk or normal milk.

Blend.

Enjoy. :)

I don't get to do that much though, it's expensive to make that every morning. Of course, you add varying ammounts of the fruit to taste.

My favorite breakfast is steak and eggs with crispy hot fries and lots of cold orange juice.

Double order of hashbrowns from Waffle House - Scattered, Smothered, Covered, Chunked, and Peppered

For those that have never experienced Waffle House...

Scattered = not in formed condition
Smothered = onions
Covered = Cheese
Chunked = Ham
Peppered = Peppers

I pass on the chili and tomatoes.

Now that I live on the Left coast I can no longer get my favorite breakfast.:(

Omelets rawk. I like that there is such a variety of them too so I will never get bored of eating them. So my favorite breakfast includes an omelet filled with cheese and whatever I feel like that morning, accompanied with a couple sausage links, home fries with plenty of ketchup, and fresh-squeezed OJ. YUM!!

this is one of my favorites but you can only have it in summer.

mix a cup of pancake mix, 3/4 c milk, 1/2 c sour cream, 1 egg and 1 T oil. cook it up in biggish thin pancakes.

to serve.. put a pancake on a plate, smear a bit of sour cream over it, sprinkle it with brown sugar, fold it up (in thirds, both sides to the middle), and cover it with sliced fresh peaches.

Here's a great idea, do it all the time: cook eggs in the bacon grease, but not scrambled. Just crack the egg and drop it in the grease. The egg will get cloudy and stuff, start spooning the grease over the yolk to cook it. Once the yolk is clouded over, and the edges of the egg start getting crispy, take it out and dip some toast in the yolk :) The egg will taste so good :)

Special occassion breakfast, I like to make cream cheeze & blueberry strata

8-10 (1/2 inch thick) slices of French bread, cubed into large chunks and air dried/oven dried
1 package cream cheeze, cubed into small pieces
fresh blueberries (1 to 2 pints)
6 large eggs
1 3/4 cups half-and-half

night before:
place 1/2 dried, cubed bread crumbs in an 8-inch buttered baking dish
sprinkle with 1/2 of the cubed cream cheeze
sprinkle with 1/2 of the blueberries
repeat for second layer
mix your eggs and half-and-half, pour over contents in dish
cover dish with saran wrap, weigh down and refrigerate over night (or minimum of 1 hour)

heat oven to 325
let dish stand at room temp for 20 minutes
remove wrap and bake for 50-55 minutes (or until edges get puffy, brown and begin to pull away slightly from edges of pan)
cool for 5 minutes before serving

Note: cream cheeze and blueberries can be substituted for veggies/cheeze/sausage/etc. just be sure to precook the contents in a skillet and drain well prior to putting into strata or it will end up runny

I'll be the first to nominate the sausage, egg, and cheese mcgriddle. I have set my alarm the past two weekends just for them! :Q Now when will McD's ever figure out that breakfast all day would be a good thing?!?!? :cool:

Pancakes. I can't get enough of pancakes. Actually pretty much everything from those Denny's Grand Slam breakfast is good. I like hash browns too. But I don't like ham very much.
