What is your favorite brand of khaki?

What brands does everyone wear for khakis? I am looking for some nice, comfortable, easy to rid of wrinkles, loose fitting, khaki pants for my job. I would like to stay within a $30-45 price range and have them be available to try on before purchasing (no online only stores).

The features that I like are loose fitting, pleated, cuff, and I really like those elastic waistbands that stretch if needed. Since khakis tend to shrink up a bit (or is just my fat ass grows?) having that = comfort++

Dockers stain defenders. They look slick and are pretty good at avoiding stains. Don't get all 6 from 1 brand name, get some variety.

I have a couple of pairs of studio bill blass. They are about $100 a pair but if you get them at JC penney on sale you can get them for $50. Amazing pants, fit great, especially if youre a tall guy like me!

Dockers (comfort ++, fit++)....... and if you want some cheap and good khakis (comfort +, fit ++) then go with wrangler @ Walmart. I buy these wrangler ones when I forget to do laundary and need something for next week (15 bucks is real cheap)

I spilled some slurpee on my gap ones the other day.... said "sh!t fvcked em up already."

went to blot it up.... staingaurd

Gap. Mine were $30 a piece on sale.

i like the gap stressfree classic fits.

pleated and cuffed?! its a flat front world now man. and no one should have ever worn cuffed pants. 😛

i used to always buy gap and old navy, but i recently bought a pair of dockers for $19 on sale and i have to say they are much more comfortable than the other brands, they look better than the other brands, they keep their color, and they are wrinkle free.

and agreed with crappopotamus. flat front, no cuff is the trendiest style now.

The cuffs I dont care much about but I've never like the fit of flat front. Besides, I'm working. Style means little to me. I'll try em though

Mervyns, Ross, Macy's, JC Penneys, Burlington Coat Factory, Robinson's May, etc...

The world is a big place.

You're normally better served to stick to looking for a certain designer nameplate rather than the store house brands, Clairborne makes great khakis (as well as great clothes period) and are probably the best in your price range. Go to whatever flavor department store you have in your area (Dillards, Hecht's, JC Penny, etc) and look for whatever microfiber pants from a recognizable brand is on sale for around $20-30 marked down from $60-70 on the reduced rack and you'll do fine. Tommy Hilfiger, Perry Ellis, and several other designers make a serviceable pair as well. Dockers and Hagaar are second tier in that price range.
