Nobody really uses 30/06 anymore
Should be the Nato round 7.62X51

Unless your first 7.62 is that, the link is blocked to me I assumed 7.62X39 though

My AR15 Frankengun

I've owned an AUG, and an SKS, sold them both, like a friend of mine told me once, you want something simple & to be able to get parts for it, in the US, the AR is the only way to go...

Although the Calico, bottom right is right up there for me, hard to argue with 50 rounds on one clip...

My AR on the top...

Hey Moose
Nice handguns
I've got small hands, I'm gonna write my handgun exam next week, and was thinking of either like a Ruger P85/89 in 9MM to start or Norinco Sig clone p226 p228 could also get 1911 in 9mm too
Thoughts?

Is it safe to assume that video games are your primary source of firearms "knowledge"?

I think very highly of Sig's they'd go to the top of my list, but as always, try to shoot them first before you plop down your $...

P226 in .357 sig would be my pick of the litter.

If you'll notice my big Glock's (22C) bbl sticks out, it's a threaded Jarvis .357 sig conversion bbl, put it in the day I bought it, and will never take it out unless it's sold.

I've shot/owned nearly every handgun caliber made in modern times, love the .357 sig, it just feels right.

I have small hands too.

Huh? Me? I'm army reserve officer, and train people 4-7 times a year. I've shot with most modern assault rifles. I would say I know something. Just happen to have an RK-95 as my service weapon.

No, not you. I was directing my statement at the OP.

I dunno, some of this is beyond me and I'm pretty good with most video game guns.

no, my family has extensive stocks of weapons and we go to the lake and target range and fire them, i look up and research most of the weapons we use on the net and it branched out from there.

I don't reload and 9mm is sooooo cheap!
I've always had a weak spot for Sigs too. I guess next time I'm in Edmonton I can go down to the mall and try a bunch. My brother lives there so I'll be in the neighbourhood or I could join the local club first and see if some members are willing to let me 'play' with their toys.
Thanks

Do you mean that you don't re-use brass or something? by your first statement.

Thats right.
I'd leave em on the floor. I do have a buddy who reloads and get him to do my hunting rounds for me but from what I understand of pistols you really go through them and I don't want to create a full time job for him ;)

Does he do it for you without pay?

I prefer to carry out my assaults with the precision of the Safari.460 Weatherby Mag

My dad had one of those a few years back. I never did shoot it, though.
