Scotch neat or Belgian ales.

At a bar, an Old Fashioned is really growing on me. Bonus points if the bartender is hot, and bent over showing lots of cleavage while muddling the sugar cube.

I used to drink quite a bit when I was 18-25 but slowed down once chronic fatigue syndrome interfered. Going to the pub with my supervisor and having pepsi instead of draft was not as much fun. Nowadays, it's more about the cost. I have to be frugal and alcohol is a luxury, so port suits me fine in terms of taste and cost.

Certainly that depends on what red wine you are drinking.

There is a big difference between Yellow Tail, Caymus, and a nice Bordeaux.

Since port was being talked about (dessert wine), big differences between 6 Puttonyos Tokaj and the Moscato D'Asti's my fiancee loves.

Anybody here like Egg NoG... well alcoholic I should say. Sipping on some Mcafee's Benchmark 8 tonight and it's decent, but I like Old St.Nick's especially around the holidays. Benchmark is mixed with Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, while St Nick's is mixed with rum.

Vodka if the goal is to get drunk.

otherwise beer.

Used to be (faux) absinthe for the social ritual among friends. With the spoon lighter and sugarcube.

....

Favorite I suppose is Kalua and milk over ice. Most imbibed is Charles Shaw cab. I enjoy quality brews, especially dark ones.

Pisco Sour.

The #1 drink of Chile, Peru, and Argentina.

It's not only absolutely delicious it also gets you lit quickly....and amazingly without the requisite hangover of other liquors when you imbibe several of them.

Whiskey. Preferably bourbon or rye aged at least 10 years.

Favorite cocktail would be the old fashioned, properly made of course. Runner up is a barrel aged manhattan.

How long is Jack aged before they sell it? I know you can buy some premium stuff that Jack offers, but what about their $22 bottle?

Rye Whiskey on the rocks - Beam Rye & Bulleit are my favorites.
Imperial & Double IPA's - West coast style. Hopstoopid is my current favorite followed closely by Alaska Hopthermia, Green Flash, Sculpin, 21st Amendment, Torpedo, Hop Czar, and Inversion.
