What is your experience with Highpoint controller cards?

Hey everyone!

Hope you're all enjoying those plush Turkey dinners!

Anyways, I'm looking into picking up either a RAID or an IDE controller card in the next few days and was just wondering what your experiences have been with HighPoint controller cards? I've heard mixed reviews and thus am thinking of going the "Promise Technology" way... Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Highpoint offers better performance and is a lot easier to set up.

I think promoise makes higher end raid setups, and SOME OK desktop/motherboard ones. But highpoint is king of desktop/motherboard raid

I use HighPoint. Setup is a breeze (running raid 0). Now, I'm going to use my RAID card as an IDE card !.
