Ok, I know that this topic comes up once and a while but I thought it would be interesting to see everybody's preference in high-end computer parts if we all go to the same page a configure a computer from the parts there. So head over to http://www.gamepc.com/gpc/custom.asp and configure your ultimate PC there.

p.s. If you click on printer friendly view it is easy to copy and paste.

To hopefully end too many threads, someone posted theirs: http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=27&threadid=201338

Personally, I've been given some thought to AMD's 760MP lately. I've doodled some ideas:

AMD 760MP Dual Socket-A Motherboard
2 x Thunderbird 800 Socket-A
2 x Socket-A Golden Orb Cooler (TDUFR01)
2 x 256MB PC133 (CAS2? ECC?)
2 x IBM Deskstar 75GXP 30GB (DTLA-307030)
Promise Fasttrak ATA-100 RAID 0 (or onboard)
DVD/CDRW combo with (Burn-proof?)
Zip ATAPI Internal Drive
NEC Floppy Drive
GeForce MX TwinView (or Single with onboard video)
Video Capture?
2 x 19" SVGA
Aureal SQ2500
Klipsch Promedia v2-400
Telex USB Digital Stereo Headset (H-551)
3com 10/100MB PCI NIC (or onboard)
Microsoft Natrual Pro Keyboard
Microsoft Intellimouse Optical 2.0
Full Tower ATX case

Again, very early ideas. I'm an Intel guy so I have a lot to learn.

I was thinking of posting in that thread, but it looks like he actually wants to buy a system. I am just asking you guys about the system you would configure if you had money to spend.
