4.0L I6 in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. 190HP. 0-60mph in 8.5 seconds. I think Jeep could have gotten more torque and horsepower out of a 4.0L engine. Redline, 5000Rpm 7000rpm max

2.8L I6 in a BMW 528i. 193 horsepower.0-60mph in 7.7 seconds
Redline, 6000rpm 7000rpm max
2.4L I4 in a Volvo 240. 114hp. 0-60 in 12 seconds!
redline 7000 rpm 8000rpm max. Nice redline for such a bad engine!

Stock it has 190 HP and 190 lb/ft TQ
I Ran a 15.7@89.7mph in the 1/4 when Stock

Currently I'd say its pushing 215 HP at the Crank

PsyNinja: The '94 Max has stock 205lb/ft of torque not 190.

Also wat mods you have on your Max? y-pipe, cai, etc...??

btw, my 99 Max has a 3L V6 pushing out 190hp and 205lb/ft of torque.
My 91 Corolla has a 1.6L 4-cylinder with around ~100hp. Dunno about torque, think it's like 110lb/ft. Gotta love that power!! It's pretty responsive though.

Actually the 94 max SE was the final year of the VE30DE engine that produced 190 Horses and 190 TQ. The 95 max was the first year the VQ30DE engine was used and it made 190HP/205TQ and was used through '99. The current incarnation if the VQ30DE makes 222HP/205?TQ (might have more torque too).

Currently I have a Place Racing CAI, Cattman Performance Y-pipe, Random Technologies High flow Cat, and a custom 2.5" catback system going to a Magnaflow straight through muffler. I also have a Courtesy Nissan Strut Brace, SMC Short Shifter, and the 16" 5 spokes from the 97-99 Max SE's

Future Mods are an Unorthodox Racing Underdrive pully, Jim Wolf Technologies ECU upgrade, Suspension Techniques front and rear sway bars, Eibach springs and Tokico struts, and ported/polished heads, and possibly new cams.

I'm the second biggest so far:
chevyb 305 (5.0l)
25 gallon has tank (28mpg!)
150 hp @ ~4500
250lb/f @ 2400 (ultimate cruising engine here)

No idea on 0-100 kph, but 80-120kph is FAST for the car :)

1990 Honda Prelude 2.0L, 140HP, no torque. ;) You know what I mean. But man does she like to stick up there 4-6k RPM. ~30mpg

And my old car (my favorite in the whole wide wurld), 1978 Datsun 280Z. 2.8L I-6, ~170HP. Memories:(

The current Maxima has 222hp and 215lb/ft. So ya, it has more torque.

Doesn't the JWT ECU only give a few more hp and gets rid of the rev limiter right?
URPD (or something like that) is testing a new ECU right now that gives a 20hp boost (that's not confirmed yet..although some say it is).

The link for that info is:URPD ECU INFO

BTW, do you have any pics of your Maxima? It sounds like a sweet ride. Check out forums.Maxima.org its a nice community there.

My everyday car: 1999 Chevy Tahoe, 255 hp 350 cid. Stock except for K&N air filter, so you can look up the performance.
What it tows: 1979 Chevy C10, roughly 443 cid, approx. 650 hp, 1/8 mile best of 6.99 @97.6mph.
(equates to around 10.90 or high 10.80's in the 1/4 at around 120+mph.
I'd estimate 0-60 to be about 3 seconds.

my '74 Austin Mini's got a whopping 850cc engine that takes about a day to get to 60-less if there's a tailwind.

and it's a rhd car! the first week I had it I kept bashing my right hand on the door whenever I wanted to shift...

2.2Liters, about 180hp stock i think, should be about 250 by now. Those with similar mods to run in this car run high 13's in the quarter mile.

2.0L, <100 HP. :(

No clue what the 0-60 time is, but it's quick enough with a 5-spd to be reasonably fun to drive.

Rebuilt 350 v8 bored to 375, 5.7 Liter. With almost nothing stock I have 375RWHP. I'm not sure about my times as I have not been to tracks and I have not got a chance to check my times on my own...
