What is your brightness and contrast set at on your monitor?

??? My contrast is at 100 and my brightness is at 39. It looks kinda funny with the brightness that high. What's the norm?

Heh, my monitor doesn't have the fancy digital menus and scroll bars.
My contrast knob is turned all the way, while the brightness knob is maybe at 25%.

there is no norm, all monitors have defects that require tuning to fix.

Either that or your monitor is dying. 100 brightness on my monitor would kill me. It too.

Good lord, it can get extremely bright if you turn it up. 700:1 contrast ratio.
