For me it's when people use "mute" instead of "moot" point. That drives me nuts. If your point is mute then you haven't made one...duh.

Anyone else?

their/they're/there
would/should/could of (it's have)
for all intensive purposes (for all intents and purposes)
hear/here
sight (for website...it's site)
write/right/rite
could care less (when they mean couldn't care less)

There was one I thought of the other day but it escapes me now.

as a pose to / as opposed to
for all intensive purposes / for all intents and purposes (as previously mentioned)

I hate when people say .. i'm like so surprised' instead of 'i'm so surprised'
Another one that gets me is when people don't know the difference between there, their and they're. It's so irritating ! (your and you're is a similar one)

Constant Valley-girl "like"-ing every sentence. It's like, so stupid and, like, dumb and stuff.

I was going to mention this one. Should be: "I've seen..." or "I saw...", not "I seen..."

LOL people hear these not-so-common phrases and try to apply it themselves but hear it incorrectly... makes them look like a bigger idiot than before.

"Mute point" is an excellent example.

BTW, is it "down the pike" or "down the pipe" (as in "coming soon") ? :D

omg, I saw that and said to myself, "everyone knows that." Then realized that I had made the same mistake earlier today! If it was from my post, sorry! I know better. (not enough coffee at that point.)

agree
conjur's list is pretty good
i also hate when people think something plural needs an apostrophe..

IE: Neon's are cars.. obviously should say: Neons are cars.

LAME.

When people mix up "flush this out" and "flesh this out."

And when someone asks a question but doesn't use a question mark.

"Jzero, would you be able to get this done by the end of the day."

there are so many... but lately it's been when people ask where something's "at."
"where's the book at?"
"where's the restaurant at?"
oh lord, that kills me. so do a lot of other grammatical transgressions, but i can get over most of them pretty easily.
