I saw mine hit 91c while ago.. Radeon 4890.. Fan was going 100%... I stopped it off, and am just going to let my CPU go today.
 
Mine are at 76 & 80 right now with fan at 100% & 34C ambient, but I have the core & mem underclocked.
 
my cards are all stock, but I keep the fans at 80-90%... ati48xx normally hover around 70-75C, ati5xxx hover around around 50-55C... but i do have one 4850 that likes to do the nuclear melt down and hover's at 90-95C (that one is currently off)...

my nvidia hover where ever they feel like it. D:
