120/70. Triglycerides are at 420 though. :( And testing has shown scarring of my liver due to the high triglycerides. :|

I don't know. I had a physical last week, but they didn't bother to tell me what it was.

134/78 is typical when I check it.

Sure beats the 160/110 I had when I first found out I had high blood pressure problems.

Cutting out caffeine, losing 60 lbs, and quitting smoking has gotten it down to what it is today. Still need another 10 points off the top number.

Neat. I lost 60 pounds, and lowered my 150/90 to average of 130/70. Doc took me off meds and its holding at 130/70 resting, 135/85-90 when I'm up and "doing things". He says its my choice if I want to go back on the meds - I'd much rather just keep losing weight - I don't think 130/70 is TOO high

That can lead to a fatty liver which in the worst possible cases leads to cirrhosis. Terrible stuff watched my father go through that nightmare.

124/80. I had it tested last Thursday. It has been better in the past, but I am on my way back down in weight. I need to lose another 20 pounds. It has been as low as 109/60.

Diet isn't that bad. What did it for me was sodas--I was consuming 1-3 liters per day. I went in for insonmia about a month ago because the Tylenol PM that I have been taking for the past year stopped working. That led to blood work which is how they found the high triglycerides. I haven't had caffiene or carbonated beverages in 2 or 3 weeks now, and my doctor was very impressed with my condition so far. Oh, and I'm 27 male.

I'm trying to decide between staying with the civilian doctor or going to the VA for stuff. Civilian medical stuff sucks with all of the co-pays and everything else.

127/88 last doc visit. Taking meds for it as well. Prior to meds it was quite high, 160/100.

I have monitors everywhere. Two in my car, two at home, one in my friend's purse.

All within reason too.

My method has gotten me off half my medicine, made me lose 60 pounds, and had me completely quit alcohol and reduce my salt intake by a lot.

By having one with me, I can take it after meals and figure out what causes triggers/spikes and what doesn't.

What sparked me doing this was that my doctor wanted me to do an ambulatory monitor, and he said if I just carried one and took it that day, that would be fine too.

Maybe I just need a group of ATOTers to come up to me and kick the s*** out of me one day.
