What is your approach to living a good life?

Mine:
Treat people the way I want to be treated.

Give more than I receive.

Treat anyone, anything, and the world as gently as I can.

Happiness comes from within not from without. More stuff or the attention from someone
will not make me happy if I am not happy already.

Do not expect more from people than they can give.

Pay attention to what people do and say.

I don't have a good life, my social skills are slowly diminishing, my house is a mess and my good looks are fading. This is all resulting from trust.

Or more to the point the brake down of trust.

To lead a good life - Don't offer your trust untill you are sure

I do what makes me happy. You only get 75 years on average, 60 living the way I live - and I'm almost halfway done. I don't believe in a god or afterlife, though I can see how doing so can result in making the sacrifices necessary for the greater good of the species - but the species has always treated me like crap, so I owe it nothing.

Mine is dont compare what you have to others. As long as what you have is fair to you, then dont worry about what others have.

My standard to a good and decent life is...

1) Education

-This is in the form of graduating from college next year and learning new things. For instance, I'm learning how to speak Spanish.

2) Always Think Positive

-Thinking negative is bad and will only give you ulcers.

3) Get a Good Job

-I'm a special education major and the main aspect of why I choose this field is so I can help children that don't have it so good. Its hard work but also a great feeling when you know you are really helping other people.

4) Volunteer

-You don't have to volunteer 20 hours a week. I feel 2-3 hours is sufficient and you'll feel great doing it. Become a big brother or go to your local hospital and donate some of your time to the children that need us.

5) Eat Healthy/Exercise

-Eating junk food will only lead to a declining health. Why do people spend more time on their cars then they do their bodies is beyond me. In addition, I feel we need to get out more often. Spend less time on the computer and more time outside. Go for a jog or join the gym. I love sitting at the computer and playing video games, chatting and browsing web pages but their needs to be a limit.

6) Money/Health Benefits

-We live in a capitalistic society so money is important. There is no escaping that and if you want to have a decent life then you need to make a half-decent amount and especially if you need health benefits for you and your family.

7) Learn from Different Cultures/Travel

-People need to learn from different cultures but instead Americans tend to defensive about this and so they will put down other cultures. Why does this happen? I would love to learn from the Mexicans. I think they have a great work ethic and their values are centered on the family. I think that is great! I also think traveling is great because you get the opportunity to see how other cultures function in everyday living. Not every culture conforms to the American way of life!

just my opinion 🙂

I basically copy some parts of those I see as happy and then avoid the parts of most the idiotic masses. The result is that I can mock them freely, and I'm happier for knowing I'm better than them in most regards.

Easy question.

Play at least 2hours of video games a day.
Train at the gym at least 6 hours a week.
Pron whenever possible.

Brain and body are both satisfied.

live life to the fullest, be thankful for everything and always reach father than you think you can. and love love love with all your heart
