Is there a reason why win2k starts and shuts down slowly?

I dunno, he probably got frustrated that the reply page wasn't forwarding to the thread so he clicked profusely!
 
This is the only one so far I have seen this and of course its the one I need to see which MS patch I need to remove.
 
I remembered a Windows update was causing problems but not which ones. Got this from Annoyances.org:

"if you have applied windows update it has 2 files which cause slow shutdown that can be removed through add-remove programs, they are #329170 & 328310, remove these & the shutdown will markedly increase..."

#329170 ! I think thats the one I remeber it has a 1, 9 and 7 in there mixed up. Thanks!
