probably a stolen credit card # to begin with. was walking around 33rd street and lex in manhattan and someone was trying to sell a rolex with one. came right out and said it.

I think they should start checking for the 3 digit security code everywhere if they don't physically swipe your card. Most online vendors already ask for it.
 
The guy bought the watch at least 1yr ago. The credit card is probably cancelled by now. I know I change cc often, like once a 1 yr.

I change my card # whenever it expires. Assuming they issue a new number and don't just extend the expiration.
