What is wrong with the people that run the Priceline type forums?

I'd heard they're Nazis but never really experienced it until today. Last week I used BetterBidding to help bid for a hotel this past weekend. It was my first time using Priceline so I figured I'd be nice and post my bid results at BetterBidding so they have a larger data set. My attempt to help was met with a deleted thread and a PM asking why I had neglected to put a referral link (the one that's spammed all over their site) in my 1 sentence post. Morons. Now I'm not going to bother posting there at all.
