It's in the process of updating the entire system...It's basically a chain reaction, it didn't work for me, now it does, and now it doesn't work for my friend...I guess it takes it slowly.

I only have the #Steam_ExitSteam thing where Exit is supposed to be. Other than that it works fine.

2. delete the clientregistry.blob file in your steam folder
3. reopen steam
4. log in

Thanks... so all I had to do was delete the blob which somehow got into my system.

I am getting really tired of programs that install all sorts of bullcrap behind the scenes. Even worse are the ones that specifically give you options to click and then just go ahead and install whatever the F they want.....

That's a class action suit I want to see.
