My 3dmark 2k1 score is only 332 with the following congfig 800x600x16 noAA, 16bit Z buffer, 16bit textures

Does your computer work? Can you surf the net at speeds that are ok by you? Does it bsod all the time?

Benchmark scores are for just that, benchmarks. They are not real world use. Are you going to let someone else tell you what you can and can't do with your computer??

If you were getting 1400 in WinME and switching to Win2k you've dropped to 332 I'd say it was a driver issue... maybe some tweaking is needed... but like was said earlier benchmarks lie

that mobo uses the via 4in1 drivers (according to the ECS website)...did you re-install the 4in1'a when you switched to win2k?

I dont think it supports 4in1 drivers, last time I put them *on winMe* the fcked my system badly

With your hardware I would probably use W98SE, did you get SP2 for your W2K, and if you did, you need to update the VIA BM drivers Manually, the SP won't do it for you.

hey, i'm not going to try to convince you to install the 4in1 drivers, but if you look at the ecs driver page for your mobo, it lists the 4in1's...and if it needs the 4in1 drivers and you don't install them, 3dmark will run like crap
