What is wrong with my lungs?

Well, I have shortness of breath on occasion. Not bad, but noticable.

I'm yawning alot.

And if I even mildly elevate my cardiovascular level, my chest starts hurting.

I did do a bit of insulation several weeks ago, so I doubt that would start botherign me today.

The reason I am alarmed is that todayafter work when I was walking out to my car, I almost had to drop to my knees because my chest hurt so bad.

Is this stress? Is it somethign else?

I'm 29 AND YES I will go to my doctor next week if things don't improve.

My arms feel fine, so no, it's not a heart attack.

also I am a bit flemmy, but not bad. More so than normal. Isn't that also a sign of stress?

stress: yes I have reasons to be stressed and I think I am stressed.

Wow, I had the same problem, plus pain in my neck. Had an EKG done along with a stress test... both tests said my heart was fine. Eventually, the shortness of breath and chestpain subsided. The pain in my neck is still there, and I've still had some mucus and soreness of my throat. I would see a doc if this lasts over the course of the weekend.

I would go to the doctor sooner rather than later, if it's hurts bad enough to make you almost fall to your jeans something ain't right. You might have an anurism or something serious.

Could be an infection in your lungs, I had that for like 2 months this year and I felt like how you've explained for most of that time until I went to the doctor a few times and we finally got it taken care of.

Smoking too much Tubesteak? I didn't see it mentioned if you're somewhat asthmatic. Apparently people can develop it at any age or temporarily at any time(could be wrong though).

Second call to asthma (sp?). I never knew it could come for a while. From what others say about asthma though, I think my symptoms are in line. Maybe...? Hrmmm

Web site told me this:

You may have a serious problem, such as CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE, ASTHMA, PULMONARY EDEMA or a PNEUMOTHORAX.

Your doctor needs is the authority on that. don't assume that...

Since when has phlem been a sign of stress?

If you're not joking, take it easy and see the doctor first thing on Monday!

If you're a smoker, don't light up.. and don't put urself in a situation where there's second hand smoke until you see your doctor. YES, go see your doctor.. 29 year olds should not be falling to their knees in pain with chest pains..

I had to take a few doses of antibiotics and some pill based steroids that were kind of risky since they weakened my immune system even more than it already was but in the end did the trick after about two weeks from the point I started taking the pills.

Too much stress always affects your health. Relax a little, forget about your job and how much you hate it.

I thought that was a sort of uncommon sign of cardiac arrest/shock, but I can't say for sure. Yeah, I know, that'll make you feel real well. I highly doubt its either of those. The chest pain though...hmmm... If I were you I'd go to the ER. It really could be shock. Well how long has this been going on? Stress will contribute to a heart attack though.

see your doctor NOW. but uh, i bet hell tell you to start doing more cardio work. start running, or hell, even walking, on a regular basis. but not before you see your doctor.
