I ran the 3Dmark 2001 test on my card. And for tests of "Nature", "Environment Bump Mapping" and " Pixel shader", it displayed "No hardware support". This is weird cause GTS is supposed to support these options. Also, could never turn on anti-aliasing in games settings or test (like 3Dmark 3001) settings. :| I am using 23.11.
Any one can give me suggestions to fix these?:confused:

system config:
Win 98;
256 kingston value Ram
Gigabyte GA 7ZX-1
Soundblaster Live!value

The GF2 GTS doesn't support them.

FSAA is worthless on a 32 MB GF2 GTS. I never used it because of the performance hit; but, to enable it, you have to go into the NVIDIA display properties.

The Geforce 2 is a DirectX7 card, 3dmark2001 is a DirectX8 test. So naturally the GF2 won't support the DX8 part of the tests, this is where you upgrade to a DX8 card like a Radeon 8500 or GF3.
And antialiasing is overrated anyway.
Also you'll probably get better performance with some older drivers e.g. 12.XX/14.XX

The GF2 does not support DX8 hardware accelerated pixel shaders, or environmental mapped bump mapping, nor does it support the full range of DX8 features used in the "Nature" Demo.... it can emulate the Nature demo of course, but blame Mad Onion for not allowing that.

The in-game AA settings depend upon the FSAA implementation being a multi-sampled form of AA, the GF2 uses SuperSampled FSAA so you must set it in the drivers.

As for FSAA being over-rated, well all I can say is I personally love AA and very seldom run without it.

Thanks guys. As to the AA options, I've never seen them appearing in the "D3D" and "OpenGL" settings. So do I need to use those tweak tools to set them or I have other choice? Where can I find those 12.xx or 14.xx drivers?
