What is wrong with my comp's power?

Everytime I turn on my comp, I need to HOLD the power button for about 3-5 sec before it turns on. Same scenario when I power from the power button on my mobo.

Here are my specs.

Thermaltake Tsunami case
Seasonic S12 430watt
DFI NF4 Ultra-D
A64 3200+
1 Gig PC-3200
160 Gig Seagate

This never happened before, but now all of a sudden its been having trouble turning on for the past few months. Now, more often than not, the comp won't turn on. So turning off the PSU for about 30 sec, then turning it back on will power the system..

Can anyone fill me in on what the heck is going on or what I may need to replace??

There is a setting the bios to configure how the power button will respond when pushed. Review it and set it to your liking.

No name powersupply = seasonic?

Are you incapable of remembering names or just so out of touch with PSU brands that your opinion is worthless?

Or did you just miss it 😛

Would you rather buy 'roplex' or Rolex?

Would you rather buy 'seasonic' or Antec?

Your opinion might hold more water if Seasonic didn't make some of the best and most efficient power supplies available. Thanks for playing.

Once you have Antec everything else is just a wannabe powersupply. Have a nice day. 🙂
