What is with every buffet in the world having that nasty mixture of strawberries and bananas?

I like both fruits, love Strawberries in fact, but damn that stuff they put out on the buffet covered in red death sugar sauce is just naaaaaaaasty. Just put the fresh fruit out there already. Sh!t!

Didn't go there for fruit. Went there because that is where the lunch crew voted to go today. It was a Thai place. Not bad, but damn the nasty red strawberry & banana ooze.
