A couple of years ago I bought a couple things from Buy.com. The experience was horrible.
'We have received your order' apparently meant we have decided to add some mystery price increases - 'In Stock' apparently meant "we think we may get some one day" - '$20 MIR' apparently meant "sucker!!!" - and on and on.
I swore I would never buy from them again.
Then along come the GCO deals and I decide to give them another try. So far, everything I've ordered has been shipped within 2 days. All my rebates are from the vendors (rather than OnRebate) which make me think I might actually get them.
I'm almost impressed.
(I did get charged for shipping ($2) on one order that shouldn't have had any, but I'm chasing that with email - not so much for the $2 as the principle.)
Just wondering if anyone else has seen an improvement out of Buy.com recently or if they are just setting me up again. I know I won't shop there as much once the GCO deals are gone but it almost seems to have their act together. Opinions?
* I'm quietly hoping Google buys them - with a $10million MIR of course.
