What is WebTV? Should I install it?

What does it do exactly?.. I've actually tried installing it, but could never get it to work... is it worth the effort trying to get it to work? I have a ATI TV Wonder and Windows ME.

it's no where near what you are thinking it is....
and No, it's not worth it....

what it is, is since MS bought "WebTV", the Set top Internet box,
they wanted to bring alittle of that to the PC, it flopped worse
than a trout outa water... it is basically non functional, and
usually just introduces more Windows instabilities....
