What is warmest fill for a coat?

Down?
Polyester?

Anyone know?

Down's good, but I think some of the synthetics they have now are better.

Down. 600 fill is good. 700 fill is better. 800 fill is awesome. Don't know if it gets higher. Expensive though. Also sad. The down feathers arrive at the manufacturers all bloody from being ripped off of dead geese.
