I believe louisiana is 18.

nope EVERY state is 21
otherwise louisiana wouldn't get government funding for interstates i believe

Yup i think LA was 18 some time ago but the govt' pulled the interstate funding so they turned it to 21 again

Ten years ago (not sure what it is now), you could get into bars at the U. of Illinois at 19. And once you're in, it's easy to get served. At Southern Illinois Univ, you could get into bars at 18. We took many trips down to Carbondale.

If you're gonna be in Vermont or Maine, might as well go up to Quebec, where the drinking age is 18.

every college town is going to have an 18 and up bar that more than likely serves, they give you a wristband that signifies that you can/cant drink or some kind of stamp on your hand. it is easy to get around and many underage people drink there.

I'm not sure that the government ever pulled their highway funding, because it was a mistake in the way they worded the law which they eventually corrected. Instead of making it illegal to purchase alcohol, they made it illegal to consume it. So the minimum drinking age was 21, but you could buy it if you were 18. Obviously all of those 18 year olds buying alcohol weren't buying it for their older friends though...
