What is USB2.0 "bug" on MSI RS480M2-IL?

I've read in various threads here about problems with the USB transfer speed on the RS480M2-IL.Can someone explain just what the problem is,and how noticeable will it be in everyday use?

I ask,since I'm considering this board for a minitower build for my girlfriend.She's got a 600Mhz PIII right now,with an add-on USB 2.0 card and front ports I installed for her.She uses them constantly for her camera and iRiver,so I'd hate for the new rig to be slower than the old in this area.

Would I be better off perhaps with a socket754 mATX board based on Via or Sis chipset?
