Well,here are my comp specs : athlon 2200+ / 768mb pc 2100 / ti4200 128mb 8x / 60 gb hd. Now, with this setup, playing Generals @ 1024 x 768 w/ medium details and playing 2 brutals my fps drops down to 15 and even lower some times. I find this odd, since I have a decent setup. And no, I dont run aa or af. Shouldnt I get better fps than this? I thought that I should maintain playable fps with this, am I wrong? Also, sometimes (not often) the fps gets to like 3 or even pauses a short bit when there are a LOT of things happening. 3dmark 01 score- 10k, 03-1600, aqm3- 19k. I think these are avg or slightly below for my system (nothing oc'd). For the first 5 or so minutes of a skirmish my fps is like 40-75 though. Is generals really taxing my vc or my comp? Thank you for any input!
 
Well, what happens if you drop your game resolution to 800x600? What if you lower the texture quality a notch or two?
