What is up with my router - keep disconnecting me?

I got my router about a month ago and it was working OK (some minor bumps on the way). But recently, like within the last week, it just keeps disconnecting me.

I know it is the router because i after i hit the reset switch on the back and wait for the lights to populate my internet connection works fine.

It is all just random and it even occurs when my software firewall is off (zone alarm).

Example: Today I had to reset it 5 times.

I have a Belkin router with a Motorola Cable Modem and Comcast Cable service. My network card is built into the motherboard and it is an Intel card.

How can i fix this problem, please help?

THANKS

The router could be bad, of course. Before replacing it though, try using different cables, just in case a cable is bad.
