ok, just went to bfg site saw the release dates....been there done that. Well what the hell is up with them OCing all the cards? what if someone wants a vanilla flavor 68gt, or ultra? Are all the manufacturers going the route of OCing the 68's for us and making us wait till they find cores that can reach those speeds? Just a lil venting..

6800s should be available next week at most major e-tailers. People that buy BFG want an overclocked card with a warranty. PNY, eVGA, and others should be available soon. I've had a Ultra on order for nearly a month, how do you think I feel :p (espically when they told me I'd have it 5/18 :|)

Added an important bit. They have toll-free 24/7 tech support that speaks English too.

I will most likely be getting a BFG next time I purchase a video card. Though that probably won't be for a few months.

only if you pay extra....but realistically, how could you not buy bfg? they had the best gf fx even though that series sucked besides the 5900nu and xt.....they were founded by guys from visiontek who made arguably the best gf4.......and it comes with a full lifetime warranty with a 25mhz oc that doesn't void your warranty...write me up for one....

Im waiting on BFG as well. Ever since they broke out on the scene Ive bought at least one of their mid level and high end cards both for my self and others. Ive been really impressed with the cards..and a lifetime warranty to boot PLUS 24/7 LIVE tech support...sh1t count me in till they go belly up !
Other companies should take a lesseon from them.

I was planning on a BFGTech 6800 Ultra anyway, the fact that it is overclocked just sweetens the deal. I almost got swayed by the $435 X800 XT from Gateway, but they sold out...

Rent: Where did you put your pre-order in,and for how much?

Why get a vanilla when you can get a faster one w/ a warranty?
The best OCers tended to be BFG, Leadtek and eVGA. I see no reason to get eVGA, but if the mid-range 6x00 get release before I have the money to buy a 9800, my next card might be a BFG, worst case Leadtek (can't deny the card quality, and their 2d is still impressive).

Is there anybody in these forums that had a bad experience w/ BFG?

I'll probably make my own waterblock but still what's up with using 1/4 inch barbs found on that coolance block? Everyone I know uses 1/2" system? If you have a 1/2 inch system this block is worthless. those ram sinks look wayy to small also.. we'll see.

GDDR3 runs very cool Zebo, the ramsinks probably aren't even needed.
