What is Turbo CPB?

i just bought a AMD960T/Gigabyte ga-78LMT-s2p combo.

i unlocked it to 6cores (easy).
i also see Turbo CPB is disabled by default.

what is it?

default cpu = 3ghz. mobo says core performance boost = 3.4Ghz.
how much faster if Turbo CPB is enabled?

I believe that it is a setting which applies a set offset to the Turbo Core frequency.
