what is TR/Horst.aae.6???

Hey all

I recently installed Avira AntiVir Personal and recommended it to a friend of mine. He did a scan and it detected a TR/Horst.aae.6 Trojan, I tried looking up info for it on google but there isn't much information on it other then it's in a Photoshop CS3 keygen? Anyone have anymore information on this one?

Have him upload a copy of the file to VirusTotal.com and post the complete output. Sometimes there's a more well-known name that helps to track down what it does.

If he wants to email me a copy of the file I could also try to discover what its behavior is (e.g. does it harvest his game CD keys, steal his Windows key, log keystrokes or whatever). My email for that purpose: mechbgon originpoint com and you want to put the Trojan inside a password-protected Zip file so it doesn't get eaten in transit. Make sure to PM me that I have mail coming, I don't check that one often.
