What is thread crapping and where (besides FS/T) is it not tolerated?

To crap is to post a message detailing a better deal elseware, on the same type of item being sold. Often a crapper provides a link, and/or other information that drives potential customers away and causes the seller much grief. :frown:

Using my definition, I'm not sure it's possible to crap on another type of thread.
 
Yes, I think FS/FT is bout the only place that thread crapping applies to on these forums.

In Hot Deals, if you know of a place to get a better deal, then by all means, please do post it. That's what the forum is there for.
 
Well any kind of general trashing of the posters intended subject could be considered crapping--- or is that thread bashing???
 
Best rule of thumb here is BE POLITE. If you have an issue with someone, take care of it either by Private Messages, ICQ, Email, etc. Remember, no one likes to be embarrassed, and if you attempt to do it, then you usually wind up looking like the jerk.
