I just got a geforce MX 400 32 mb card at a local retail shop (built a pc for my daugther). It was used. There was no cable.

There's a tv out but I can't figure out what type of tv out it is. I am only aware of composite and s-video.

There's a serial number on the card and some other codes but couldn't find anything on the net.

There's also a sticker that says "3Dforce2MX-TV" That pulled up a few links but couldn't find anything about a cable

Serial:
A012001190T

Other code:
82118B/V1

Now, here's a picture of this tv out

I am looking for some way to get a cable for the tv out. Also, I willneed to connect this to a tv that only has a composite (RCA) connector.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for the help....with these types of connectors, do they pretty much work on all cards, or could this be priopretary in any way?

I'm just wondering if whether i'll end up with a $10 cable lying around the house if I order this and it doesn't work for some reason.

Anybody got one of these cards?

Also, is it possible it's a personal cinema? Would I need the green box?

I have a Visiontek "xtasy everything" card for my other pc which has the green box...but I wouldn't want to ruin my green box trying to hook it up to this card.

Edit:
They call my green box at this website a VIVO Module:

It's a combined S-VHS / Composite output. A normal S-VHS cable will work just fine. The composite signal comes out of the second second pin in the second row in the OPs photo and is grounded on the outside ring of the connector. The needed adapters are shipped with most cards so ask your friends as someone may just have one that they could give you.

I dont really know.. I do know the some ATI cards use a VIVO cable to hook to component HDTV. The only other VIVO cables Ive seen are the ones with combined RCA composite in/out and s-video in/out. They seem exactly the same as the nvidia cables.

I would think its a good possability you have the personal cinema because if the connector were only for vid out they would just use a regular s-video and RCA jack. VIVO allows input and output signals. But since its proprietary hardware on both ends the pins could be used for anything. Does the green box have an external power supply? If it doesnt and it draws power from the VIVO cable Id be careful of hooking it up without checking voltaged on it.

If you do try Im pretty sure its all low level video signals so hopefully nothing would get blown. I know id try but then again im not know for being overly smart :)

Do you have the pinouts for your VIVO cable for the green box? maybe you can hack an adapter together to get the composite output on the cheap.

I did read at a site that VIVO cables seem to be standardized across all manufacturers.
