What is this? (laptop prototype)

A friend of mine happened across a prototype laptop a few months ago. In an effort to keep him out of trouble, let's just say it was *not* an HP Firefly. ::wink::

Well, it boots up and works, but the 19" 1080p screen is very dim. He wants to take out the CPU (Socket P), RAM (200-pin), and video card and shove them all into a desktop case/mobo. The problem is the video card... we don't recognize the slot.

It registers as PCIe in the OS, but I feel like it's a proprietary connection made just for this laptop. It's a Radeon 3870 x2 Mobility, so I know he can always replace it with something else if it's too much trouble... but we figured we'd see if there was an info out there first...

So, what connector/port/slot is this? Thanks!

That's a PCI-e x16 and I'm guessing the third thing is what the card uses to send the signal to the monitor.
