Okay, let's begin
The card is PCI...
It has DDR memory, as confirmed by the ram chips..
it is not VE, as a comparison of the core by Anand revealed..
It IS dualhead, DVI, VGA, and TV-Out
It has the ATI Radeon Graphics logo but with the "TM" but it does not have the "R" by the ATI (right's reserved or whatever)...
Has the heatsink and fan combo, not just hs..
Made In China
sticker on bios has this:
R6
PCI
77701
Sticker on back has this part #
P/N
1027770100 041017

I will email ATI about this..

second thing.
does not boot up in my systems,
recognized as secondary card in WinXP, but does not run, no drivers work, all say they are incompatible with it. it shows up as a Radeon SDR (AGP)..

I'm very confused..
i'll try and get pictures..

Is this what I think it is ??..
A Real Radeon DDR PCI Dualhead?....

anyone??..

The radeon Le that was so famous here in the forums was marked like that though ATI did not support them...They were oem cards with the ati gpu chip and a handful of features changed or disabled...

My guess is an oem card not officially supported by ATI...Marketing may have realized that there is a need for this card as a pci device for older boards not supporting a agp card or as a second vid card...

yes, I am quite aware of the LE version of the card, what you may have going is this probably is, most likely that not is that this is an oem or partner product, not supported, that ONLY works as a secondary vid card..

the ram is too slow, from what I gather, it's 60 ns..
is the 7500's not quite a bit faster..
plus remember, it's PCI, do they make a PCI version, gonna go check..

Q12: Is there a PCI version of RADEON? 7500?

A12:
ATI has not announced plans to support a PCI version of RADEON? 7500.

then again, none of the other cards make sense..so yea..
:)..

Here is a link to the card...

well the mystery has been solved, I got an email from ATI..

"Regarding the identification of your video card:

According to the number you submitted (10277770100 041017), this is a Radeon Mac Edition video card.
This card was manufactured for the Apple Mac systems and will not work in a PC, just as a PC card will not work in a Mac system.

This is why Windows XP is not booting with the card in the system.
