what is this CTFMON.exe in windows XP?

this process gets started automatically when XP boots up. any info?

I think it's a file for office xp, something to do with voice recognition if I recall correctly. It will reinstate itself as a startup item everytime you use an office program unless you rename/delete the file. That's my experience with it, anyway.

Either it is the voice recognition or it is a language thingy.
