Grrrr
Fine and dandy. I have been shopping with Multiwave since the inception of Pricewatch. They had good prices, expensive shipping, but shipped to all military APO addresses. I actually used them to purchase small items for my shop while deployed. They are usually quicker than the supply system! How does that make ya feel? Your items are actually used in wartime!
Well, since I move around a lot, my current shipping address changes with the wind. I usually smooth it over with the bank to allow multiple mailing addresses. I reached the maximum, and thought I could slip one by. I think the heat got to me this time and the frustration of yet another delay in getting equipment finally broke me. I am no longer doing any business wtih Multiwave. Newegg here I come. So far thay have been very supportive and their prices are hard to beat. Shipping is high but not the usual Mwave gouge.
I guess it is a good thing. Protecting those out there against fraud (this is not to say Newegg is willy nilly with credit card protection...A quick comment in the order saying I was deployed smoothed the order right out. Not too many credit theives sitting, isolated, on Air Force Bases. Not a good career choice I guess. )
I sent off a terse email to Mr Richards and quickly ordered my item from NewEgg. BTW, it is working out well...shipped very fast! (Ordered on the 20th)
Now I get a charge from Mwave on my debit card!! Grrr. Great fraud protection there Richyboy. Can't ship it to ya, but we will charge that stolen credit card every day and twice on Sunday!
Now, mwave has $61 of my dollars interest free. Who knows how long it will be until they fix it. I am sure I will get a reply from my email (I just sent) saying they will fix the goof up ASAP.
