Every now and then I here a clicking through my headphones. It's totally silent and then out of the blue a "click" will sound out. This has been happening, but I'm getting sick of it! Anyone had this problem before or know what it is?

HELP!

Ground loop?

Or something more subtle like mesononic collisions (nonylpolar) with adiposally coupled radiodaughters of depleted copper-167 canisters.

Could be, I don't remember having this problem when I had my PSU that came with it, It was a Sony system. PCV-RS520 is the model number. Think that could be the problem?

ROFL

And don't forget to check the passively-cooled flux capacitor block next to the southbridge ... that can be a source for the noise as well 😉

First... is there any way to verify your headphones are not going... maybe try a different pair to see if it still happens?
also... can you notice that the pop happens at the same time as something else, like maybe a refrigerator compressor coming on or something?

Free solutions....
Try running your system off a different outlet/circuit

Cheap solutions (or free, depends)....
Try a different power supply
Try using a UPS or other line conditioning system

Pricey solutions....
Have an electrician in to check your homes wiring.

You like how I call them all solutions when I have no fvcking clue if they will work 😀
