What is this Chinese stuff?

Flavors like sweet melon, orange, strawberry??? This guy on my team brought bags of the stuff back from LA and got me addicted. What do you call it? Must go find it in an ethnic store! All the packaging is in Chinese, naturally.

none of my chinese friends seem to have a slightest clue of what it could possibly be. when you mentioned "sweet sticky rice candy" kagami mochi came to mind, but sweet melon part rules it out...

They're wrapped in edible rice paper, right? Those rock. Can't remember what they're called, but they're good.

I just had some Chinese "Moy" or preserved salty sweet plums in a entirely new flavor - Coffee flavored and its not bad!
