I've been meaning to ask all summer. It's brownish and looks like an ant but flies - got some weirdly shaped symmetrical wings, not fully round.

From your pic I'm calling it a lobster fly. From your written description I'm guessing termite. Do they swarm after rain storms and engage in flying orgies?

Pic is blocked but from description I'd guess carpenter ant or termite.

1995 called, it wants it's camera back.

Heh, believe it or not it's a Note 3 camera taken through some blinds I was too lazy to raise, with a lot of light in the background from outside and the bug is through the glass which is reflecting the white wood on the inside, so this is what you get.

I can't believe nobody knows what this is. It's not like many bugs have these wings.

It's just some harmless wasp, or could be an ant: Ant queens and males grow wings. Definitely hymenoptera due to narrow waist.

You have some huge pubic lice.

Red frame is done by default with the Windows snipping tool. Can't screenshot anything faster than that tool! It's tres awesome. And yes, I screenshotted a bigger pic to crop it.

PS... it's a negative on the hymen...
