What is this AIMBOT that i keep being accussed of using?

I was playing a 3v4 CS game and I owned the other team, then they resorted to calling me a cheater and that i used an "aimbot" I don't know what they were smoking, their leading guy had the same score as me too! They called me a "bitch" "f*cking gay whore that has to cheat" "loser" "llama" (this is only for TFC anways, stupid people) and "aimbot user"

Now what is this aimbot? I heard of it, but I would NEVER have thought that i would be acssused of using it. Hell, i just got lucky tonight. Although overall, i'm pretty good, keeping a 1.5:1 ration.

And didn't the new HL patch killed all the cheats? beacuse it said that all cheats don't work anymore?

I hate it when people have to whine and have excuses because they suck, worse of all, i coudln't believe they voted me :|
 
An aimbot works on the principle (I think) that it changes the colors of the models of players to green/red, and then checks the color of the player. If the player != your color, then it fires.

They are supposedly pretty accurate.

I have also been accused of cheating, only once though. Most of the time I suck way too much to be accused. 😉

Why is it that the first thing people do is accuse a person is using an aimbot if they are doing pretty good???? :|:|:|

It's just an excuse for sucky people...makes them feel better cause they suck so bad.

Accusing someone of cheating (when they're not) is one of the best compliments to be given in a game 😀

Anyone with above average skills get accused of cheating on a regular basis. I can't explain why these trash talkers choose to, but it just happens.

True, true. I was just playing TFC (for the first time in ages) and after getting up on someone 93-4 on 2fort (it's easy, as a medic), they called me a cheater. How dare them.

They just need to learn to defend against concers. 😉

yeah, you guys gave good points, but they're NOTHING once they start voting me out of the game, now that is just sad. I might have to resort to saying that i am a &quot;kill-picker&quot; &quot;always behind the team&quot; and other pussy tactics so i can get kills just to stay in the game, but chances are that that'll never happen 😉 I probably won't play a small game anymore, besides the servers I'm playing on, most of the good people recognize me as a sucky player somtimes and a damn lucky asshole the next 😉
 
Ha, I was accused of cheating once. Now that is just sad, because I am not that good yet. I have my moments, but I still get my butt kicked around by the good players. *cough* Engine *cough*
