West Coast city slicker looking to see the sights in Nashville.. that will be the furthest south Ive ever gone.. what should I look for?
 
2nd Avenue bars, Hooters, and clubs. Broadway bars and Irish pubs...that's about it. Just don't go to the gay district, which, ironically, is mainly on Church street. There's alot of good live music down Broadway, and not just country (I hate country).
 
Yep - amazingly enough, many Nashvillians can't stand country. Sure, spend your money here on country souvenirs... and take ALL the music with you when you leave. Please make sure none of it is left behind. 😉
