Awesome Sushi in St Paul on 4th street by the river. Just moved back so dont know of any others yet.
Mall of America. Pretty girls, huge mall, ...
If you got a rental and feel like taking a drive you could hit 394 to 15 and drive around lake minnetonka. Not winter and not summer so may not be the best.

there's a steakhouse in the downtown district. (St. Paul's grill?)

anyway, there's a couple brewery in town too... One of them is like the Cathedral (or Chapel) Brewery which is built inside a church.
